We've Been Reading the Cool Stuff

"Let's all travel together like water flowing in one direction."

We found that in a book on "Urban Shamans" and we thought that was a most memorable phrase. Maybe some of you Hawaiians know it:  "Ho'omoe wai kahi ke kao'o." If we wanted to lead a team, that would be the way to get things moving.

We all live in the same time, surrounded by the same stimulation - watching the same media, and our time and our culture are all intermixed together - so we do that anyway. People have the same ideas, not because they are imitating each other, but because there are so many of us living together at the same time, in the same kind of universal culture, that it is like sparks igniting each other at the same time.

Sometimes when we post here on the Blog, there is somebody right next to us talking about the same thing. It is uncanny. We don't know you, you don't know us, but the spark jumps at the same time and we both end up talking about the same thing at the same time. Has that happened to you too?
