We clicked our blog this morning and there was nothing there. When the month rolls over to the new month, the previous month's blog entries go into the archive. So for your delight and edification, here is our first blog of the New Year. A New Day has dawned on a New Year. And for those of you who have the need to read, here is a resolution for you: read a book a month, that is all we ask. Turn off the TV once in a while and engage in some old-fashioned entertainment. We have close to a hundred books for your review - and remember - looking is not buying - so feel free to browse our wondrous descriptions, we don't charge extra, and it warms our hearts to see the view counter go up.
Why? We spend hours polishing and honing the descriptions, or transcribing the reviews from various sources to illuminate the contents of the books we are selling. If you like our blogs, then there is more of the same in the description section of our store items. And remember, like the song says "Don't Fear the Widget" - you can click to view individual items without actually bidding.
So, to finish, a happy "Hi-Yo" (High-Yough) from a city of great book-readers here in Central Texas. We now have to go look for our can of black-eyed peas. It's a local custom to celebrate our survival through trials and tribulation, we have to put a silver dime in there too. And we drank some of the champagne last night, and we'll finish it off today. Enjoy what is left of New Year's Day.
