We have been reading a lot of our stock lately - we got some Charles Schulz books in, and then we started watching the Charlie Brown Christmas Special, which in all the years it has been on, we have never watched all the way through. And that is what we feel like - a kind of end-of-year thinking, like the characters on the Special. Are we too caught up in our own thoughts, immersed in our own issues? And what is the true essence of Charlie Brown? Is it that zig-zag sweater he always wears and his furrowed and beetled brow. Maybe we should sell the books to our eBay buyers. And let them have some post-modern thoughts about this pre-Internet hero of anxiety and apprehension. And why are we having recurring thoughts of the Easter Beagle? It must be the lack of light down here in the Antique Section of the Hi-Tech-And-Antique eBay Store. Or maybe it is the red background on this blog entry. It is making us think of Easter Eggs. Click on the door to enter the Store and wonder why it has the same color as Charlie Brown's sweater. Is it coincidence, or is it part of a larger interconnected universe of causal probabilities that some may call - synchronicity? |
