A Hint of Fall In The Air (Almost) [October 17]

The temperature has dropped to the high 80's, though it did get up to a 90 degree high, there was a strong breeze. And the light has started to take on the peculiar quality of the Fall. The sun has IMG_3340moved lower in the sky, the light is shining in father into the office. Clint Eastwood, when he changed from actor to director, said that he thought that this was the best time of the year for filming movies. The plant life has started to die off, everything is no longer a lush green (we had record rainfalls during June, July and August). All we need are some horses, some cameras, and a few stand-ins and we could be making an epic Western movie.

Got rid of some more books and CDs today. Trying to make room for some new merchandise. But there is a lot of attachment to the old. Unread books especially are a magnet for our attention, even though some of them have been around for years. Using an applied Feng Shui declutter plan to not keep extra things, or not keep things that are no longer in use. It is a kind of mental discipline.
Saw a holy man talking to a powerful man on television today. May they live long lives and fulfill their aspirations for peace and brotherhood.
