Chasing the Gecko

He was in here earlier. The cold weather must have brought him inside. But he saw the humans and made a beeline for under the couch. It is the House Gecko. Zooming around the Hi-Tech-And-Antique Store. We will track him down. Or he will track us down. We are never sure how that works out, except with the 35 degree temperature drop yesterday, the Gecko will not be as fast on his feet as he would be otherwise. Texas temps dropped to Fall temperature at last.

We are rearranging things - moving boxes, looking through unopened boxes that have been sealed for months, maybe years. We are staring at a box of rocks. Souvenirs from around the world - the Painted Desert, pebbles from Teotihuacan in Mexico, Cuzco in Peru, and interesting shaped stones from morning walks at the beach from times gone by. Maybe some photos soon. The stones are in the back now, as part of the rearranging process.
